Today Kim walks a path centered around Jesus, something she finds deeply fulfilling. But it wasn’t always like this for her. She grew up Catholic, but she never had a relationship with God. She didn’t even know there was an opportunity for such a thing.

But that opportunity presented itself through tragedy. After her second marriage ended, she felt like her life had ended. She lost all her money, she lost all her income as her former husband was the provider, and she lost her entire nest egg that they had saved for 20 years. 

Everything she had ever known came crashing down around her. She was devastated, and had no idea what to do. She did the only thing she could think of: fall to her knees and beg God to help her. And God was listening, God was working. 

By His grace, he led her to Southeast Christian Church where she was saved. In the two months that followed, she got baptized and recommitted her life to Christ. She started attending church every Sunday. She also waited for God to put the right man in her life.
