EVEN DYING ON THE CROSS, JESUS LOOKED AROUND HIMSELF, FOUND A THIEF, AND GRANTED HIM ETERNAL LIFE. HELP US CARRY ON HIS MISSION WITH JOY!

When Jesus was on the cross, he forgave a thief, granting eternal life to a person who would never have been able to earn it otherwise. Had Jesus given up on that criminal, someone rightfully convicted for his transgression, then He would have been sending us a different message than the one that he did send to us, a message based firmly in forgiveness, compassion, and of course, ministry.

Our names are Tony and Kim Cash. Called to serve and to help open people’s hearts to Christ, we have committed ourselves to cultivating some of the most fertile ground for faith births and rebirths: our prison system. Because so many of these people feel passed over and forgotten, they can use God’s message perhaps more than anyone else, especially as they reenter society and work toward turning their lives around.

Instead of taking the easy way out and concluding that “there are just some offenders who will never change,” we choose to see reality as it is and to recognize that Christ’s love is open to all people regardless of their past transgression and regardless of their current station in life. This way, we can multiply the Kingdom of God and make disciples out of men who have reached the lowest points in their lives and who are prepared to accept the powers of faith and grace moving forward.

OUR GOAL

Serving men inside and outside the prison system, we encounter many inspiring stories of change and redemption. It is possible for people who have committed crimes, even heinous crimes, to return to God’s warm embrace and to choose Christ’s salvation. We do incarceration mentoring, post-incarceration mentoring, as well as mentoring the loved ones of the incarcerated, and by raising some additional funds, we know that we can expand our mission and touch more lives. This is not just about prison missionary work either. God wants to heal these men and their families so they can enjoy the emotional security and fulfillment that having a Christ-centered relationship can bring.

We help men getting out of incarceration to connect with other brothers in Christ who are committed to helping these men mature into strong godly leaders – leaders in their homes and in the community. We know firsthand what happens when they don’t stay connected to the body of Christ, they fall and end up going back to prison.

This is where you come in, friends. By supporting this campaign, you are supporting our mission and doing your part to serve in a missionary role as well to advance His Kingdom through ministries like ours.

THE JOY OF ETERNAL LIFE

All people deserve to hear what Jesus has said. That is what missionary work is all about – sharing the Good News of eternal life made possible through Christ’s sacrifice. When people, including prisoners, hear the Good News, it can have a profound and lasting effect on them, and that is what we strive for. Your support will enable us to up our efforts even more.
